Jaime Lane is a passionate community leader and connector, deeply committed to grassroots development and fostering meaningful relationships across all sectors of business, government, education, healthcare, manufacturing, and industries. With a proven ability to build vast networks throughout the Lake Norman area, Jaime excels in facilitating growth, community involvement, business retention and expansion, and the development of impactful programs and events.
Currently serving as Manager of KIDS WORK and My Corporate Impact, with Make an Impact Foundation, Jaime focuses on workforce development initiatives that empower individuals and students through internships and skill-building opportunities. These efforts are designed to address critical workforce needs while fostering economic growth and building a pipeline for the next generation of the workforce. Jaime’s work has helped bridge gaps between education and industry, ensuring that both businesses and residents thrive.
Jaime’s grassroots approach emphasizes collaboration and engagement. She has developed programs such as Connecting Our Communities, a non-profit expo aimed at uniting local organizations with businesses and residents to strengthen partnerships. during her tenure with Lake Norman Economic Development, she and her team developed the PIVOT Internship program which she managed for high school students in advanced manufacturing and skilled trades.
Other notable initiatives include the annual Fundraiser for the nonprofit she founded Seasons of Giving Lake Norman Whobalation at Northstone, a community celebration raising funds for underserved elderly in the community, as well as Project Sunshine Bags, supporting elderly individuals displaced in Western NC; and various investor events and business development programs. These efforts showcase Jaime’s ability to unite diverse groups, manage and execute programs and events for shared goals.
As a dedicated volunteer, Jaime has contributed to numerous areas of the community, including organizing events that bring together stakeholders from Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville. Her leadership has been instrumental in creating opportunities for connection and collaboration across the Lake Norman region. Through these efforts, Jaime has helped foster a sense of unity among the three towns while driving sustainable progress.
Jaime’s work is grounded in her ability to connect with almost anyone anywhere, leveraging her extensive network to facilitate partnerships that benefit the community. Whether through mentoring interns in advanced manufacturing or developing innovative programs for business retention, Jaime remains steadfast in her mission to help the Lake Norman area thrive. Her dedication to grassroots development ensures that every initiative she leads contributes to the region’s growth and prosperity.
Jaime has been married to her husband, Kevin for 25 years and has 3 children; Colby (21, junior attending ECU), Sydney (19, Nursing at UNCW), and Charlie (12, middle schooler). A rare Unicorn, Jaime was raised in Winston-Salem but has called LKN her home since 1983 when her family built their first 2nd home in Mooresville. They have resided in Huntersville for 21 years.
