SPEAKER: Andrew Watts, Director of Infrastructure and Security, Service Logic

TOPIC: Responsibility Without Authority: How Security Leaders Drive Change When They Don't Own the Room

SPONSOR: Lake Norman IT Professionals

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Andrew Watts leads enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity at Service Logic, the nation’s largest privately held HVAC service provider.  He is responsible for modernizing IT systems, securing critical business assets, and enabling the company’s continued growth through acquisition.  His team oversees technology integrations across more than 100 locations and supports an employee base of over 8,500 nationwide.

Andrew joined Service Logic in 2024 with more than two decades of experience in IT leadership, cybersecurity strategy, and global infrastructure management.  Prior to Service Logic, he served as Virtual CTO for Strategic Wealth at LPL Financial, where he advised independent financial professionals on technology adoption, cybersecurity, and business continuity.  Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Microsoft, Colas USA, and Norfolk Southern.  These Fortune 500 companies were where he built and scaled IT implementations, negotiated strategic vendor partnerships, and drove enterprise-wide modernization initiatives.

Guided by a philosophy of servant leadership, Mr. Watts is committed to developing IT practitioners as both professionals and citizens, fostering a culture of inclusion, excellence, and accountability.  He is passionate about building high-performing teams and leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud transformation and AI automation to deliver long-term value.
