About The Event
The RDU IT Professionals Community is stepping away from the breakfast table and into the field for our first community outreach event.
We're partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Wake County for a build day in Wendell, NC spending the day working alongside our neighbors to help build affordable housing in the Triangle area. No experience necessary. Just show up ready to work and be part of something that matters.
Date: Friday, June 12th Location: Wendell, NC (Exact Address TBD)
Arrival: 8:00 – 8:10am
Schedule: Safety briefing at 8:15am, build runs through 3:30pm
Note: Lunch will be provided.
Before you arrive: Every volunteer must register in advance. Registration closes May 28th after that, unclaimed spots will be opened to the public. Don't wait on this one.
This is open to RDU ITP members and anyone in the technology and security community who wants to join us. Bring a friend, bring a colleague, bring your team.
